The Alliance website is a comprehensive repository of industry trends, data, and research that highlights news media strengths and positioning. Members have exclusive access to advertising support materials; reports and case studies on innovative strategies and success stories; thought leader webinars and other member-only events.
Our new online community for members, ideaXchange, offers ongoing opportunities for you to engage with other Alliance members. Accessible through our new website, ideaXchange provides a platform for sharing, brainstorming and learning. The portal will also be a home base for gathering and distributing the collective findings from regional innovation summits, member surveys and more.
Industry Benchmarking Tool
Coming soon. Our new digital benchmarking tool exclusively for members, metricsXchange, will allow comparisons between markets and publications, providing new insights into the news media industry’s digital business efforts. The Alliance will also provide analyses and highlight newsworthy trends mined from the tool.
Online Job Board
The Alliance online job board, careerXchange, gains you access to the industry’s top talent. Post news media industry job openings, search the listings and peruse resumes of potential candidates. Not only is careerXchange the best way to find qualified candidates, but it’s also a great way to reinvest in our community and help build the news profession. Unlike the commercial job boards, our site is owned specifically by News Media Alliance and was developed solely with industry employers in mind.
The online Services Directory (formerly called Vendor Links) provides a convenient resource for members to locate news media industry services providers all in one place. On the Services Directory, members can quickly search by keyword or by service category.
Our annual conference, mediaXchange, offers members an exchange of information and ideas with programming and unprecedented networking opportunities that generate results. This year’s conference, focused on the Futures of News, is designed to inspire and to provide valuable ideas and insights to help news media industry professionals grow audience and revenue for their print and digital products.
Webinars and online education
The Alliance offers webinars featuring in-house and external industry experts sharing tips and success stories for generating revenue and growing audience. Past webinars are archived and available to members on our website.
