The U.S. Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) on April 9 of price changes for market-dominant mail to take effect July 14, 2024. The proposed adjustments, approved by the governors of the Postal Service, would raise mailing services product prices approximately 7.8 percent. Due to the underwater surcharge, the average rate increase for Outside County is 9.758% and 9.701% for In-County. The PRC will review the rates for compliance.
