More than 120 participants representing news, magazine and digital-only publishers met with Members of Congress from 36 states on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2024 for the News/Media Alliance’s ‘Support Journalism’ Fly-In to advocate for the importance of quality journalistic and creative content and reinforce the need for legislation that would compensate news publishers for the use of our valuable content and discuss AI’s impact on journalism and free press.
