We’re already seeing the devastating effects of this across the country, with hundreds of local publishers shutting down every year. This leaves news deserts scattered across America, full of disconnected communities, fake news, and unaccountable government.
Journalism, particularly local news, is the glue holding thousands of communities across America together. We have to protect it.
