Lobbying firm Mehlman Castagnetti Rosen & Thomas today released an analysis of how the novel coronavirus pandemic will impact policy and politics in the coming months and years, “Politics & Policy in the Age of Pandemic.” The analysis, prepared by Bruce Mehlman, looks at the country’s preparedness leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic, how the public health crisis could affect the 2020 election, and what the political landscape might look like in the months and years after the election. Mehlman also offers five recommendations for leaders going forward, as well as reasons to feel optimism.
