Facebook event opportunity for Alliance members!
As part of its commitment to The Facebook Journalism Project, Facebook is hosting regional learning events in Dallas and Atlanta (with plans to add more regions). These events are a great opportunity for the day-to-day digital leads and journalists in these areas to interact with Facebook’s team and gather practical insights that can be shared in their newsrooms on the local level.
Representatives from Facebook’s partnerships, operations & engineering teams will be on hand to share best practices, answer technical or product-related questions, and solve operational issues and requests.
Specifically, team members will be covering the following topics at their help desks later in the day:
- Journalist Tools
- Pages, Ops & Insights
- Live
- Platform Support and APIs
- Instant articles
- Crowdtangle
