NewsPix is a suite of apps that drive engagement in local news through pictures and visualizations. Our first app is a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that delivers breaking news to the new tab window of a desktop user’s browser. Our first pilot partner is the Boston Herald.
Custom video of anything-anywhere under tight deadlines. Stringr is a marketplace that allows media organizations to buy video from both amateur and professional videographers. The media organizations can preview all footage. If they like what they see, they can immediately download the HD version. Stringr also brings work to the videographer. Videographers can download our app and enable push notifications, and Stringr will let them know when media outlets want something filmed.
TicketSauce is a private label “SaaS” that provides event management and ticketing software to media organizations. These organizations have the ability to grow transaction based revenue, increase data for readership and provide a robust event software solution to their clients. All of this occurs under the brand of the media organization. With event ticketing service fees being a 7 billion dollar business in the United States, the opportunity is ripe to transform and disrupt this business in the local marketplace.
