Arlington, VA – The News Media Alliance is pleased to announce its newest member, Adams Publishing Group (APG), a family-owned community newspaper company providing high-quality news and media products and services.
APG President/CEO Mark Adams, stated, “As our industry faces continued pressure on postal, digital competitiveness and legal notice legislation impacting our ability to operate effectively, we felt that this was the right time to develop a partnership with the News Media Alliance on these important issues that will help Adams Publishing Group and all other media operations.”
Alliance President & CEO David Chavern stated, “We are very happy to welcome Adams Publishing Group to the Alliance family. Launched in 2013, APG provides news and advertising products to over 34 million community members in 20 states across the U.S., as well as the District of Columbia. APG is comprised of 37 daily newspapers, 90 non-daily newspapers, and numerous other media-related businesses, including magazine production and distribution, digital and marketing solutions, tourism and travel publications, commercial printing, and events.
Chavern continued, “Through their commitment to delivering high-quality news to their communities, Adams is contributing to a strong and informed democracy in which Americans have access to important local news and information that directly impacts their daily lives.”
