The Alliance sent comments on December 31 in regard to the Federal Trade Commission’s request for public comment regarding a joint petition it received from the Consumer Federation of America and the American Economic Liberties Project seeking to renew the FTC’s “Click to Cancel” Rule that was vacated by the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in July. The FTC received 23 comments in response. We will continue to monitor.
