Congressman Sam Graves (R-MO) introduced the USPS SERVES US Act (H.R. 3004) on April 24. The USPS Services Enhancement and Regulatory Viability Expansion and Sustainability Act makes needed updates and reforms to the postal regulatory process to ensure fairness and provides protections for customers captive to the USPS monopoly. By empowering the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) with a clear mandate to protect the public interest, this legislation holds the USPS accountable for efficiency and service performance.
