The United States Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) on April 9 of price changes to take effect July 12, 2026. The proposed adjustments, approved by the governors of the Postal Service, would raise Periodicals rates by an average of 6.8 percent and Marketing Mail (MM) prices by an average of 4.8 percent. The MM rates vary from only 1.36% for High-Density and Saturation flats, to 7.219% for carrier route. The Postal Regulatory Commission will review the changes and set a comment period.
