NAA Supports Introduction of CASE Act of 2016

NAA applauds the introduction of the Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement (CASE) Act of 2016, introduced by Representative Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), which would create a small claims court for copyright matters and aid individual creators and small businesses in the enforcement of their copyrighted works. This legislation will be particularly helpful for many individuals and small businesses who face copyright issues, yet find federal litigation to be out of reach.
